Tenuta San Jacopo, founded in 1737 in Cavriglia, covers 140 hectares between Chianti Classico and Valdarno Superiore. Forty of these hectares are vineyards, while the rest are olive groves and forests. The land has been organic since 2003, and it is about 300 metres above sea level. Red and white wines, a sparkling wine, grappa and olive oil are produced here, with a focus on enhancing the surrounding land as the main source of product expression. Staying on the estate is an experience that brings together the historical charm of Chianti with modern comforts. The renovation maintained the original architecture with the addition of elegant flats. Separated by a road connecting Valdarno to Chianti Classico, the estate includes an 18th-century villa and a farmhouse surrounded by hills and vineyards. A large courtyard connects all the facilities and serves as access to the pool. The outdoor spaces feature historical elements, and they reflect the agricultural vocation of the Tenuta.
