San Luciano<\/h1>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”30px”][vc_column_text]Located in the green hills of Monte San Savino, Azienda Agricola San Luciano, has a great location at an altitude of 330 metres. It is therefore subject to climatic variations that, combined with the fertility of the soil, provide the perfect environment for viticulture. At San Luciano every stage of grape processing is meticulously conducted. As soon as the grapes are harvested, they are transferred to the cellar, where the crushing and destemming processes begin.
\nFor the superior red wines, a selection of grapes undergoes special refinement in select wooden barrels, while the select white wines continue their evolution in steel barrels. Wood is a crucial material. It enhances the grapes, interacting harmoniously with the tannins present in varieties such as Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Cabernet and Merlot, through the use of French oak barrels.
\nThe different types of wood impart a unique variety to the wines, which is then refined and balanced in the bottle, a key moment in achieving the perfect equilibrium among the various components.
\nEach step is characterised by time, patience and precision, with no need for the use of chemicals. These are the hallmarks of a genuine and authentic wine. The well-equipped wine cellar allows meticulous control of every stage of production.
\nLastly, San Luciano’s commitment to sustainability and respect for the environment is evident. Since 2008, the energy that is used by the winery has come exclusively from photovoltaic sources, making both the producer and its hotel, Villa Boschi Salviati, true examples of energy autonomy and respect for the surrounding environment.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”40px”][vc_column_text]\u2022 Hectares of vineyards<\/strong>: 60
