The next weekend is coming with many events throughout the territory. Summer exploded with a program of initiatives that invite you to visit the city of Arezzo and the province.
Sport with the Arezzo Bike Festival, three weekends in which the land of Arezzo becomes a cyclist’s paradise with races, historical cyclists, themed initiatives in an uncontaminated territory, where history, tradition and nature tell the quality of life.
This Sunday, July 18, begins with “La Rampichiana” MTB event now in its 16th edition, a race included in the national circuits of the 3 Regioni Scott Tour, the Tuscan Cup, the Italian 6 Races. Alongside the two competitive routes, it offers a cycling touring review to offer all those who love cycling the opportunity to move in a wonderful territory.

It will then continue over the next weekend with the two-day “l’Ardita” cyclostoric and subsequently with “Biciinfiera”, the first exchange exhibition for historic bikes and accessories.
To discover the wonders of Arezzo, free guided tours of the city are starting again this weekend. The visits will take place on Saturday and Sunday mornings and afternoons.

Music and festivals on weekends
Lots of music on weekends, with festivals offering top-level events. In Pratovecchio Stia comes “Naturally Piano“, an immersive experience between music and nature in the scenarios of the Casentino valley. Saturday afternoon at 5.00 pm walk through the historic center of Pratovecchio and at the end performance at the piano by Luis di Gennaro. At 20.00 “Concert at Sunset” in the evocative courtyard of the Castle of Romena with Silva Costanzo, Clare Ibbot and Angelo Calvo and then at 21.00 the singer-songwriter Enrico Ruggeri in concert in the central square of Pratovecchio. Also Sunday will be dedicated to music, piano and nature with an extensive program that culminates at 9.00 pm in Piazza J. Landino with the performance of the pianist Raphael Gualazzi.

In the opposite valley, in Valtiberina, contemporary arts are on stage with the Kilowatt Festival in Sansepolcro. Theater, dance, performing arts, music, literature, visual arts, with 45 partners involved who come from all over Europe and one of the most important billboards in Italy for the sector. Until 24 July, selected performances every day, many debuts, special projects for the nineteenth edition that wants to give a sign of restart and offer the opportunity for exchange and deepening, to broaden the gaze towards new horizons of thought.

There is no lack of Classical Music, with the start of the Arezzo Organ Festival. First appointment Sunday 18 July at the Cathedral of S.S. Pietro and Donato of Arezzo with the Organ Recital by Franz Hauk (Germany) who will perform on the organ built by Luca di Bernardino da Cortona between 1534 and 1536. Nature and Territory
Like every weekend, there is no shortage of proposals to experience nature and the territory. The Riserva dei Monti Rognosi, every weekend in July organizes the Family Trekking “Sundays with the Storks“, a nature walk on the Sovara stream to discover the secrets and curiosities of these beautiful birds. The itinerary is suitable for everyone, the meeting is at 5.00 pm at the Fabbrica della Natura (loc. Ponte alla Piera – Anghiari).
Adrenaline and fun instead with the Acqua Trekking in the Casentino streams. Accompanied in safety by environmental guides, you can get in touch with nature by wading streams and cooling off in the crystalline waters of small streams. This Sunday the adventure is on the Wild Fiana in the municipality of Montemignaio, among breathtaking waterfalls and natural pools in an absolutely wild and constantly changing natural context.
