Fattoria La Striscia

Fattoria la Striscia has been owned by the Occhini family since 1700. It is located on the Arezzo hills, just 900 metres from the city’s old fortified walls. It covers an area of 14 hectares of vineyards facing south-southeast, and it is registered for DOCG Chianti.
The winery’s origins are documented by its registration in the Register of Historical Enterprises as far back as 1850. It has always operated in full respect for the land, and it obtained organic certification from the Suolo e Salute inspection association in 2013.
Driven by a true passion and dedication, in 2001 the owners of the Fattoria La Striscia embarked on a renovation. This included a total replanting of all the vineyards and an adaptation of the old cellar, and it has resulted in creating superb wines known for their elegance as well as their pleasant and distinct qualities.
