Villa Le Vigne

The vineyard was established more than 80 years ago, and it has seen significant expansion, particularly in the 1970s with the addition of one hectare of land and 2,300 vines. Over time, Villa Le Vigne obtained a valuable DOCG certification and further expanded its size to almost two hectares a decade ago. In 2001, the new generation took over the reins of the company, replanting the vineyards with modern methods and more than 8,500 new vines. With altitudes varying between 180 and 230 metres above sea level, the vineyards enjoy excellent sun exposure.
In 2004, the first wine label was launched with 2,200 bottles. It was a balanced blend of Sangiovese (50%) and Syrah (50%) grapes. Three years of intensive work and meticulous grape selection led to the creation of this high quality product. The second label was introduced a year later in 2005, made exclusively from Sangiovese grapes. These wines are not only the result of advanced agricultural techniques, but they are also deeply rooted in the history and culture of the region they come from. The labels have names that echo the rich medieval history of the area, providing not only exceptional flavour but also a slice of local tradition in each bottle.
