Pertini Park: the green lung of Arezzo

Arezzo is a city that is full of history and green spaces thanks to the Tuscan hills, the landscapes that surround the city and the city parks. 

The largest park in Arezzo is Pertini Park, also called Giotto Park because it borders Giotto Street. This park has long bicycle paths that make it the perfect spot for cycling and running. The pond and playground areas inside the park are the favorite spots for the little ones. The park’s paths are lined with tall trees that provided lots of shade during the hot Arezzo summers. Pertini Park or Arezzo’s “green lung” is loved and lived in by the all the people of Arezzo. It’s the natural stage for many sports and musical events in the city.
