Hike in the Natural Reserve

This exciting new adventure begins in the picturesque village of Monte sopra Rondine, an ideal starting point for trekking in the Ponte Buriano and La Penna Natural Reserve.

 

Our environmental hiking guides will introduce you to a variety of landscapes, from broadleaf for-ests to gentle hills, passing through human-influenced areas and some that are still truly wild.
What truly makes this experience exceptional, however, is the opportunity to encounter the unique flora and fauna of this reserve. During the journey, you will have the chance to admire a wide range of bird species and rare plants that find an ideal habitat here.
So, pack your backpack, wear comfortable clothing, and join us in this journey of discovery. The Ponte Buriano and La Penna Reserve is ready to welcome you and reveal its natural beauty, offer-ing an unforgettable experience.

Information

• Meeting point: Monte Sopra Rondine

• Excursion duration: approximately 3 hours

• Technical difficulty: easy / moderate

• Total distance covered: 9 km

• Elevation gain: 200 meters

• Participants: minimum 4, maximum 30

• Equipment: Layered clothing, waterproof jacket, hiking boots with treaded soles, backpack with water (at least 1 liter), and snacks

• keep in mind that we may encounter wild animals during the excursion. Although their presence or reaction cannot be predicted, it is always important to maintain a certain distance to ensure your safety.

 

• ensure that you are in good health and do not have any medical conditions that may be affected by physical activity or immersion.
