A beautiful tour in the splendid “via Setteponti” area, the ancient “Cassia Vetus” which crossed the Arno Valley (Valdarno) side of Pratomagno mountain. An incredible, low effort trail which climbs up the slope of this evocative mountain reaching Mount Lori, one of its most beautiful peaks, where the now famous sword in the stone is located, known by all the hikers who frequent the mountain. Here we will enjoy looking at the sunset on a breathtaking panorama, which spreads from Trasimeno Lake, Valdichiana and Amiata Mountain to Valdarno and Chianti Mountains. We will climb down towards the valley discovering nice villages and spots such as Anciolina, an ancient castle also called “the eagle’s nest” since it lies on the top of a very steep hill, or Pratovalle, located in a small and green valley nearby.
With e-bikes we will be able to climb even the steepest road of the trail with low effort.
