Two days to remember in the lands of Arezzo. A small experiential tour that will aim to make you live and enjoy some of the most ancient, noble and deserving places and flavors of our splendid lands.

DAY 1

Arrival and accommodation in Valdichiana in the best luxury hotel in the province.

Visit to a renowned local cheese factory and tasting of Tuscan cheese.

Transfer to the historic residence "Castello di Gargonza", ADSI member for guided tour and lunch.
The fortified village of Castello di Gargonza is a village of medieval origin, surrounded by a wooded property of 500 hectares and overlooking the Val di Chiana.The Castle, splendid testimony of a fortified Tuscan agricultural village, with its tower, the considerable remains of its walls and a thirteenth-century door, its thirteenth-century Romanesque church with bell gable and mullioned window, its houses overlooking its narrow alleys today it is one of the best preserved 'uncultured' fortified works in the Arezzo area.

Transfer to Lucignano for a guided tour of the village, the Municipal Museum and the Golden Tree.

Dinner at an organic "Italian fusion" tavern (Tuscany-Piedmont-Sardinia) and return to the hotel

 

DAY 2

Visit of the historic estate "Tenute di San Fabiano", member of ADSI
(The historic Tenuta di San Fabiano owned by the Counts Borghini Baldovinetti de 'Bacci begins one kilometer from the circle of the walls of Arezzo on the surrounding hills. It extends over the slopes of the Casentino , north-east of the city. The family that still owns it today was one of the most influential Tuscan families of the 11th century. The farm has nowadays become an important reality in the world of wine, exporting its products in all corners of the world where the nectar of Bacchus is appreciated.)

Transfer to an organic farm in the Chianti area for wine and oil tasting

Guided tour of the city of Arezzo

Local crafts workshop to create a small unique object that you can take as an indelible memory of the holiday, and visit the gallery of works and artefacts by Arti-già-nato artisans and artists, in the historic center of Arezzo.

End of the tour with a guided tour of the Ivan Bruschi House Museum historic residence
An ancient and noble historical residence opens to the public with its treasures. By the will of Ivan Bruschi, the headquarters of the homonymous Foundation is located in the Palazzo del Capitano del Popolo, one of the most elegant early fourteenth-century civil buildings in Arezzo. Located in front of the famous Romanesque parish church of Santa Maria, in the upper part of the historic city where the most famous memories and the secular seats of the city authorities are preserved, the origin of the palace dates back to the thirteenth century when it was built on an even older building.
