XV Festival dei Borghi più belli d’Italia

The 15th edition of the Festival dei Borghi più belli d’Italia makes a stop in Lucignano.

The Valdichiana medieval village will be the protagonist for three days of events with debates, promotion, and reflections on the quality of life in small villages, a veritable mine of liveability and sustainability for the present and future.
The weekend’s programme includes conferences and talks with sustainability as one of the main themes and leitmotif of this edition.
There will also be food and wine with various regional stands and a centre where six stands of M.I.B. (Mercato Italiano dei Borghi) producers will present their products.
The final ceremony of the three-day Lucignano event will end with the handing over of the Borghi flag to the representatives of Calabria, the region that will host the next edition. The villages participating in the festival will hand over a shrub from their territory to the Lucignano municipality for the creation of the Biodiversity Park of the Most Beautiful Villages of Italy in Lucignano.
