Music gives you a reason to discover places full of charm, history and magic.

The new dates for the “Amphitheatre under the stars” program have been set and will feature the music of Mendelssohn, Mozart, Bizet. This unique event goes until mid-September and offers music, dance, theater in one of the most beautiful and magical places in the city of Arezzo.

On Sunday, July 26th at 9pm,  the Roman Amphitheatre becomes the exceptional stage for a concert featuring the OIDA Unstable Orchestra of Arezzo, with Rita Cucé (piano) and Marco Ferruzzi (conductor).

The program opens with three pieces from the Symphony No. 2 in D major for strings by Felix Mendelssohn, a journey by one of the masters of musical romanticism.

Rita Cucè’s piano will delight the public with the Piano Concerto no. 12 in A major, K 414 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, an opera that is part of the triad of concerts conceived for the Viennese public, characterized by extraordinary thematic and melodic richness.

The music of Georges Bizet will close the concert with some scores from the Carmen Suite (arrangement of A. Visotsky) and in particular Aragonaise, Gypsy Song, Flower Song, Card’s Scene Chanson du Toréador, Habanera and Les Toréadors.
