A big market without borders
170 foreign operators from 35 countries, with the 5 continents represented. From spices and perfumes from Provence to butter biscuits from Brittany, flowers and cheeses from Holland, beers from Belgium and Ireland, roast shin of pork from Germany and the timeless sausages with sauerkraut; then Spain with paella and sangria, Greece with souvlaki, caviar, vodka, pearls and furs from Russia; rose essence from Bulgaria and roasts from Slavic countries. And again: there will be textiles from Flanders, Argentinian asado, silverware and wooden and leather goods from Africa, kosher cuisine from Israel.
Three killometers of taste, traditions and cultures
More than three kilometres of handicrafts and gastronomic products from all over the world, located as always in the part of the city centre between the Eden area and the streets and squares of the old town centre. A widespread event that aims to involve a large part of the city’s historic centre with the enhancement of central streets for the route. The stands will remain open every day from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m., enlivening the evenings with a programme of side events punctuated by music, dancing and children’s entertainment.
Streetfood area with foodtruck and street food
The curious motor-powered apicars with traditional street food products will also be back. Foodtrucks equipped with quality products, gourmet food and a special section dedicated to gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian cuisine.
Piazza san jacopo between beer drinks and zero km specialties
Piazza San Jacopo, which has always been the area of local producers during the International Market, this year also opens up to beverages and tastings of wine and beer produced by local farmers. Coldiretti will be in Piazza San Jacopo with the Campagna Amica market and many agri-food specialities, seasonal fruit and vegetables – including pumpkins, mushrooms and chestnuts, fried ciacce (chestnuts) and much more.
