The Hundred Tastes of the Apennines

With the arrival of autumn, Anghiari is getting ready to welcome the ‘Centogusti dell’Appennino’ market exhibition, for a long weekend exploring the Tiberian village and the excellences of food and wine.

Present as always will be countless items of excellence, from pecorino to chocolate, from wines to vegetables, from typical sweets to cured meats, with the possibility of tasting and buying on the spot, with the advantage of a direct dialogue with the producers. All this will be welcomed as per tradition in the historic center of one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, which for the occasion will open its typical stores to host companies and visitors.
During the days of the exhibition there will be a refreshment point, with the renowned brustichino anghiarese (bread “toasted” with sausage, olive oil, salt and garlic), and the characteristic brazier for the direct cooking of the Chestnuts of Ponte alla Piera.
