The Festival of Forgiveness in Terranuova

The great Valdarno Festival and Fair between market and ancient entertainment.

At Terranuova Bracciolini, every year in accordance with seventeenth-century tradition, the most important fair event in the valley returns in September: the Festa del Perdono (Forgiveness Festival). A village fair with many religious, folkloristic and commercial aspects. An unmissable event that knows how to combine the traditions of the past with the customs and flavours of the present. The Festa del Perdono cannot miss the ostentation of San Tito, the patron saint of the town, the bird fair, the fireworks display, the big market and the caldarrostai with the luna park, the fair with handicrafts from around the world and the agricultural machinery exhibition-market. Today, the Fiera del Perdono (Fair of Forgiveness) is also the great showcase for the companies and traders of the town and the territory, with three hundred thousand visitors every year. A not-to-be-missed event, a square that is renewed every edition while maintaining its strong link with the rural Renaissance past.
