Terre in Festival 2026

Widespread theatre in the Valtiberina, with performances, dance, music, workshops and participatory projects

Terre in Festival 2026 returns with a widespread programme that travels through villages, theatres, squares, museums and open-air spaces in the Valtiberina. The festival, promoted by Laboratori Permanenti under the artistic direction of Caterina Casini, confirms its vocation: bringing theatre into places, creating relationships with communities and enhancing the area through the performing arts.

The events will involve Sansepolcro, Monterchi, Pieve Santo Stefano, Caprese Michelangelo, Sestino, Badia Tedalda and Anghiari, creating a cultural itinerary that invites audiences to discover the valley through theatre performances, concerts, performances, workshops, projects for children and contemporary dance.

One of the most significant events of the 2026 edition is “Silenzioso”, a project by Virgilio Sieni in Monterchi, inspired by Piero della Francesca’s Madonna del Parto and dedicated to the relationship between gesture, landscape and community.

Terre in Festival offers theatre that can inhabit places and generate encounters: a cultural experience designed for residents, visitors and tourists, combining live performance, participation and discovery of the territory.
