An ancient castle that dominated the valley of a stream with an Etruscan name, Rocca Ricciarda is a terrace overlooking the majestic green ridges of Pratomagno and the Valdarno. A small sandstone treasure chest containing secrets and ancient stories.

A magnificent village overlooking an enchanting valley. Perched on a monolithic rocky spur, Rocca Ricciarda is a terrace overlooking the majestic green ridges of Pratomagno and Valdarno.
We’ll get there by going up the beautiful valley of the Ciuffenna torrent among pools formed by small waterfalls of crystal clear water and centuries-old chestnut trees, visiting along the way two other pretty hamlets: Poggio di Loro and Gorgiti.
