Raffaello Lucci is an artist originally from Arezzo, born in 1948. In his long career, he trained by practicing drawing from life and copying the great classics. However, his research led him to a very personal stylistic signature based on an abstract-informal language. Lucci reconstructs the sensible reality through perfect balances of colors. His compositions are built through chromatic zones that reflect a pure sensitivity with a lucid and rational character. Lucci’s experimentation also involves the written word as a sign-symbolic and mysterious element that further contextualizes his abstract expressionism.
