The review "Our Restless Memory", organized by the municipality of San Giovanni Valdarno retraces the stages and the fundamental authors of the history of recent cinema, paying homage this year to the great director Stanley Kubrick, an American naturalized British, considered one of the greatest filmmakers in history of the cinema. Evenings dedicated to those who love his films, but also to those who want to know him for the first time.

The review offers a concert with the most famous music of the films and six free screenings of the masterpieces of the great genius of cinema, all in different evening events divided between July and August.
Kubrick was one of the last directors to be the bearer of a concept of cinema as a vehicle of thought. All of his work can be read as a historical-cultural reflection on the Western world, realized through exasperated and metaphorical stories in which the contradictions of contemporary man come to light.
The film festival includes the screening of Super 8, 16 and 35 mm films, to reproduce and pay homage to the atmosphere of the old cine-clubs.

The number of seats is limited therefore reservations are recommended
