Opera Seme Festival

Four days dedicated to opera, in an unprecedented festival connected to the voice and “bel canto”

The Opera Seme Festival is born from the union between Italy and the United States with the aim of welcoming more and more young singers and teachers from Europe and other parts of the world, in order to offer innovative performances that draw inspiration from both the past and the great tradition of Italian opera.
Located in the historic heart of the city, between the Vasariano Theater and the Petrarca Theater, the festival offers a comprehensive program of European operas and a concert of opera scenes and arias, designed for a diverse audience.
In addition to the scheduled performances, the festival also offers three free masterclasses open to the public, conducted by professionals from the national and international lyrical-musical panorama. These will be formative and cultural opportunities to listen and learn about the history of opera and singing, delve into vocal technique, interpretation, and operatic tradition.
The first edition of the “Opera Seme Festival” is organized by the international artistic center Spazio Seme and the American Friends University.
