Nume Festival 2024

Artists from all over the world and of the highest calibre for the festival that unites great and new stars

Concerts, masterclasses and musical encounters open to the public are once again on the programme for the seventh edition of this unique cultural event. The Nume Academy & Festival, which brings the best of international classical music to the heart of Tuscany, to Cortona, returns from 17 to 23 June with a full calendar of events. The kermesse’s winning formula has been confirmed for 2024 as well, with stellar names in classical music such as Tabea Zimmermann, Stella Chen, Andreas Brantelid and many others, flanked by a tight training week for prestigious young musicians selected from all over the world by call, which this year regis-tered no less than 300 participants for 12 places available.
Nume Academy & Festival has now become a landmark on the world stage, an eagerly awaited appointment for the public, but also for international artists and young classical talents. In fact, in addition to the Festival, an extraordinary training offer is presented by NUME Academy, which is set in the unique context of Cortona, a splendid medieval town of Etruscan origin known internationally, a unique place for fostering personal development and proposing valuable and refined cultural activities. The academy’s objective is to support and accompany the artistic and professional growth of the new generations of musicians, an ideal meeting and sharing space for artists, teachers and students, where they can express their talent and creativity in full respect of cultural and gender diversity: all of the academy’s programmes are provided entirely free of charge, including masterclasses for violin, viola and cello.
