The 'Notte Stellata' exhibition will be inaugurated at the Museo dell'Arte della Lana on Saturday 2 July at 4 p.m. with curators Fabio Giusti and Eva Basile.

The event is the second exhibition of the Notte Stellata project, a large collaborative art exhibition in which three large panels made up of 50×50 cm segments on which more than 180 people worked using a variety of textile techniques.
The creator and designer is Fabio Giusti, a textile entrepreneur from Prato who, in May 2021 during the virtual event of Feltrosa (an event organised annually by the Coordinamento Tessitori association always in a different location in Italy), proposed to create a collective work to be reassembled at the first opportunity to meet. The famous Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh, a painting from 1889 that is part of the collections of the MoMa in New York, was thus chosen.

A first exhibition of the textile reproduction of Starry Night was set up at the Rocca Sanvitale in Sala Baganza (Parma) on the occasion of Felt 2022. In this new exhibition there will be unpublished fragments, which complete the work.
