The first, which is part of the project “Acoustic cloisters – between Umbria and Tuscany” in collaboration with the Diocesan Museum of Città di Castello, will be the Oida Quartet, the Instable Orchestra of Arezzo engaged in the exhibition of famous pieces of classical music by Vivaldi to Mozart, Pachelbel, Bizet. Afterwards, Thursday, July 30th, “Ritroviamoci” usual, beloved appointment with the chansonnier Vittorio Perla and the Monterese artists for an evening that really promises a lot: performance of violin, trumpet, piano, guitar, percussion, singing and cabaret. On Saturday 8 August, Maurizio Marrani Quartet offers a broad program ranging from the ’60s soul music to Jazz Rock, from Fusion to Bossanova, to Blues, for a sparkling and fun evening. Antonio Ballarano Trio will brighten the evening of Thursday 13 August, with a musical journey that crosses the 20th century from Swing Made in Italy to popular songwriting. The Monterchi Festival program ends, the evening dedicated to De Andrè and philosophy, a story between words and melodies to discover the innermost meanings of his vision of the world.
The review will be accompanied by another initiative “Il Piano di Piero” at the garden of the Civic Museums of the Madonna del Parto, a meeting place and culture. A small musical tribute to visitors who choose our Museum and who willingly stop in the splendid garden that frames it.
