The Festival was born from the desire to enhance young musicians by offering comparisons and stimuli to develop and enhance their artistic abilities.
Masterclasses held by teachers of great prestige, final course concerts, recitals and symphonic concerts will offer a unique programme to totally immerse oneself in the dimension of great music.
In this atmosphere, Monte San Savino is preparing to host teachers and students in its splendid setting as a medieval village in the rolling Tuscan hills, where the renowned qualities of the place will surely be appreciated by all.
A Festival for young people, where the Masterclasses become a point of reference for learning, growing, comparing and performing in concerts. The public performance of their work will be indispensable for their training, which is why among this year’s novelties there will be the possibility for some students to perform some concerts as soloists with one of the Festival Orchestras.
MusicLab is a new project, a workshop for stringed instruments dedicated to the very young, in collaboration with the “U. Cappetti” School of Music, to enable them to experience socialising and sharing within a string ensemble from an early age in a highly inspiring dimension, with the final performance in public at one of the Festival’s shows.
Complementing this programme, four major concert events will involve the public, tourists and students in the setting of Monte San Savino’s main square.
