First appointment for the Librinborgo review, Monday 19 July with the presentation of the book “Ivo il tardivo. investigation into a crazy and extraordinary film” with Philippe Chellini, Enrico Zoi, and Alessandro Benvenuti. Enzo Brogi will be the moderator of the meeting to be held at 9.00 pm in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele in Castelfranco di Sopra.
The book, published by Sarnus, is dedicated to the film Ivo il tardivo (1995), shot in the uninhabited village of Castelnuovo dei Sabbioni in Valdarno. The book collects the voices of the director and actor Alessandro Benvenuti, the glittering troupe and the very colorful cast, given the massive participation of the locals. The first part of the news, full of irresistible anecdotes, is followed by a careful analysis that provides possible interpretations of a film that is as fascinating as it is enigmatic, one of the first to touch on issues such as autism in an original and suggestive way. A rich collection of exclusive photos, taken during the making of the film, completes the homage to a work that still does not cease to amaze today.
All the events of the exhibition are carried out following the provisions in force according to the anti-contagion regulations to limit the spread of the Covid-19 virus, admission is therefore limited and places are limited.
Free admission, reservation required.
