After reaching the highest peak of the Romagna Apennines (Monte Falco 1.658 m) from which we will be able to appreciate a fantastic panorama, we will descend to the source of the Arno also known as Capo d’Arno, which the Supreme Poet Dante Alighieri mentions in his “Divine Comedy” and to the Idoli Lake, a famous place of worship where, at the beginning of the 19th century, hundreds of bronze statuettes were found that for centuries were thrown into the lake by the Etruscans as votive offerings.
