Ladle Fair

The “Fiera del Mestolo” is the grand traditional market that animates the streets of the center of Arezzo in September.

The event, which takes place shortly before the beginning of the grape harvest, used to attract the entire countryside, who would come to the city on this occasion to renew the agricultural tools needed for the grape harvest. Hence the name Fiera del Mestolo (Ladle Fair). Today it is an event that for three days brings all kinds of products, flavours and food and wine from all over Italy. There is no lack of tradition with exhibitors producing and selling wicker and wooden articles for the home and agriculture.
