Guided tours of Montecchio Vesponi Castle

The charm of Montecchio Vesponi Castle, relive the history and atmosphere of a medieval castle.

The castle is situated on the top of a hill in the countryside of Castiglion Fiorentino, from where it dominates the Valdichiana, with its stern profile and its agile tower, about 32 meters high. The InCastro Association organizes guided tours to discover the surviving parts of the fortified complex, update the public on new discoveries, and allow everyone to relive the medieval atmosphere of one of the best-preserved castles in Italy.
It is possible to visit the castle by participating in guided archaeological tours on the following dates:
