Excursion in the name of history, architecture and literature. From the Parish of San Pietro in Romena to the Castle of Porciano.

During his long exile Dante Alighieri stayed in Casentino, where he composed most of the Inferno, the first of the three cantiche of the Divine Comedy. The literary trek “Fra canti e castelli” retraces not only the personal events of Dante Alighieri, but also a part of the masterpiece of the “Comedy”, where many places we will visit are mentioned verbatim. We will read and comment the most significant passages of the three canticles and walking we will identify with the great poet.
