Festival della Fotografia Italiana

An immersive journey into the world of contemporary photography

The Italian Photography Festival 2026 presents a rich programme of exhibitions, public talks and in-depth events designed to create opportunities for discussion, dialogue and active participation among authors, professionals and the public.

The highly anticipated Portfolio Italia portfolio reviews, part of the Portfolio Italia circuit, also return, offering an important opportunity for emerging and professional photographers to present their work to a qualified panel of lecturers, curators, gallery owners, publishers and photo editors. A valuable moment of exchange and professional growth that supports the development of photographic projects and the promotion of new talent.

The Festival will also host several specialised publishers presenting a selection of photography books, offering visitors a dedicated space to discover some of the most interesting publications in the sector and engage directly with the world of photographic publishing.

On Saturday 13 June, a shuttle service will connect Bibbiena, Poppi and Pratovecchio Stia, allowing visitors to travel between the different exhibition venues and attend the scheduled openings. The service will also include the return journey after the Festival dinner party in the evening (advance booking required).

All events and exhibitions are free of charge, with the exception of the exhibition “The Habit Makes the Monk”, hosted at the Castle of the Counts Guidi in Poppi.

A unique opportunity to discover contemporary photography through languages, visions and experiences that intertwine with the cultural and landscape heritage of Casentino.
