"Rastrelli". Art, theaters and actors at the time of the plague is a highly symbolic and contemporary story, which shows drawings and scenes never seen before, true works of art in front of which traveling comedians have performed. But above all, "Rastrelli" is a documentary that discovers to the world the importance that Anghiari had in the Medici era: so important that it has four active indoor theaters and one outdoor.

The screening will take place at Villa Gennaioli on September 3rd at 9.30pm.

Central episode of this story as fascinating as it is unknown: a company of itinerant actors is blocked by the plague between the Papal States and the Grand Duchy of Tuscany. It is 1631.
