Deer Roaring Census

The arrival of autumn allows for a captivating natural experience, the roaring of the deer, the powerful call of the mature male specimens during the mating season.

This will be the opportunity to participate in guided excursions to be thrilled at twilight and in the early evening hours by the strong call of the deer. Registrations for the 2023 Deer Roaring Census are open until September 6th. During the census evenings, wolf monitoring will also be conducted using the wolf-howling technique. The census is open to all enthusiasts who wish to contribute. Volunteers can join the experts for three nights in the census operations of the male deer. The occasion will be enriched with insights into the management of deer, wolves, and wildlife in general.
