Cortona On The Move

The festival, now in its 14th edition, focuses on a wide range of storytelling tools. Starting with photography, understood as the basic grammar of visual language, it embraces stories that include video, sound, texts, and other installative and immersive elements.

4 group shows, 18 individual exhibitions, 6 locations and 4 months of festival. These are the numbers of the next edition of the international photography festival Cortona on The Move, with the theme Body of Evidence. The Cortona On The Move festival transforms the body into the “Body of Evidence,” an object of investigation according to the interpretations of international photographers such as Myriam Boulos, Carmen Winant and Philip Montgomery.
The ‘highlight’ of the event will be, as every year, on the opening days of the festival (11-14 July), when the greatest national and international experts in the world of photography will meet in Cortona for events, presentations, talks and workshops, to promote reflection on current affairs and the past, through one of the tools, photography, that best investigates reality.
