Fifty initiatives concentrated in three days in the eighth edition of the Arezzo Celtic Festival. The event is scheduled from Friday 29 to Sunday 31 July in the Pertini Park and, in the meantime, the rich and varied programme for all ages has been defined, ranging from concerts, shows, dances, markets, workshops, book presentations, children's workshops, conferences and food and wine. All of this is free of charge. The aim is to take people on a journey back in time to the magical world of the Celts to discover their customs, traditions and customs, with the green area of Viale Giotto hosting the reconstruction of historical villages that will be animated by about eighty figures from all over the peninsula.

Every participant will be able to experience this re-enactment atmosphere on Saturday and Sunday, starting at 4 p.m., with educational activities dedicated to the discovery of artefacts and life in past centuries that will be offered in the camps of the ancient Celts, Romans and Italics. Four real re-enactments are also scheduled during the Arezzo Celtic Festival: on Saturday, the Gallic Banquet show will be staged at 8.00 p.m., in which the customs connected to the peace treaties will be shown, and at midnight the lighting of the Sacred Fire by the Druids to re-enact the triumph of the sun, while on Sunday at 5.00 p.m.. 00 it will be possible to test oneself in the Celtic Tournament among many different ancient games, and at 18.00 a Celtic wedding will be celebrated with a faithful reconstruction of the pagan rite.
This evocative setting, together with the craft market area with over fifty stands and the food and wine area where it will be possible to dine on beers and typical dishes, will also be the setting for the programme of shows that will enrich the three evenings. Among the most eagerly awaited moments are the “Al Kimiya” fire performances with Olivia Mancino with a contamination of dance, juggling, martial arts and contemporary theatre, as well as Celtic music concerts with the bagpipes, strings, flutes and drums of the Daridel Paganfolk band. Further artistic moments will be provided by the Clover school of Irish dances and the Celtic and tribal dances of Les Danseuses de Sheherazade, who took part in “Italia’s got talent” and who will propose enthralling moments with dreamlike and oriental atmospheres.
