29th String Quartet Festival

The Festival of String Quartets is a summer series of four concerts held in the Church of San Pietro in Gropina.

The Festival, now in its twenty-ninth edition, is known for the high quality of Italian and international string quartets that perform each year in the picturesque Church of Gropina in Loro Ciuffenna. The musical performances are of the highest level, featuring nationally and internationally renowned quartets with extensive experience. The acoustics and beauty of the Church enhance the performance and enjoyment of the music.
The concerts start at 9:30 PM and are free of charge. They are preceded by a guided tour of the Church at 9:00 PM (a national monument dating back to the 8th-12th centuries).
