Taking the stage will be OIDA, Orchestra Instabile di Arezzo conducted by Maestro Alessio Tiezzi.

On the programme will be some of the most famous works in the symphonic and operatic repertoire: the famous Overture from Vincenzo Bellini’s “Norma”, hailed a fiasco at its debut and today one of the most famous pieces of his entire production; the symphonic intermezzo from Pietro Mascagni’s “Cavalleria Rusticana”, followed by Giuseppe Verdi whose OIDA will interpret the Overture from Nabucco with the notes of “Va’, Pensiero” and then close by increasing the rhythm with the magnificent Symphony No. 7 in A major Op. 92 by Ludwig Van Beethoven. 7 in A major Op. 92 by Ludwig Van Beethoven. For this event, of great civic value, and which finally celebrates the return to performing in the city theatre, OIDA has thought of a surprise for the audience, a tribute to the city of Arezzo that will be unveiled during the performance.

Programme:

V. Bellini – Norma: Overture

P. Mascagni – Symphonic Intermezzo from “Cavalleria Rusticana”

G. Verdi – Nabucco: Overture

L. v. Beethoven – Symphony No. 7 in A major Op. 92
