Ivan Bruschi Antiques House Museum

Casa Museo dell’Antiquariato Ivan Bruschi

Treasures and curiosities of an historic mansion

The Palace of the Capitano del Popolo, one of the most imposing medieval buildings in Arezzo, houses a collection of art and antiques collected by the Arezzo scholar and antiquarian Ivan Bruschi during his lifetime.
The old family home became a venue for cultural meetings, social events and the salon of the Antiques Fair, established in 1968 from an idea that arose during his many travels.
A ‘place of wonders’ where his cultural understanding of antiques found significant and lasting expression, and where today one can admire works from different eras and belonging to the world’s most important civilisations.
